PhotonikBB is a network of partners from science and industry to transfer scientific results in the field of photonics and optics into commercial applications. It strengthens the cooperation between companies, universities and research institutions. The innovations of tomorrow are developed and produced in the German capital region of Berlin and Brandenburg. In order to achieve this goal the network promotes and coordinates projects to integrate know-how from science and business.

The network also focuses on activities like creating a central database for products, services and projects in the field of photonic as well as an expert pool. For international companies and scientific institutions the network allows a fast access to photonic activities in Berlin and Brandenburg.
